A New Path for Growth

Opportunity Runs Deep.

For years, Nepra helped build great products from the inside out. Now, we're investing in more of what happens next. Our expansion into bottling gives Nepra something fundamentally different: an owned manufacturing asset connected to an artesian water source, the ability to create finished products, support other brands, and participate in the growing beverage economy. The more we learned, the more green lights we saw. Everything from the quality of the water and domestic manufacturing to aluminum packaging and the capabilities already within our team. Most importantly, it gave us an opportunity to put our company principles into action while owning more of the value we help create.

Great water has a story long before it reaches the bottle.

It Starts at the Source.

When we talk about water quality, we believe the conversation should start at the source. Where does the water come from? What geology surrounds it? How deep is the well? What naturally occurs in the water? And what gives the source its unique characteristics?

Our story begins hundreds of feet beneath Lewiston, Idaho, where groundwater is held within layers of the region's basalt geology under natural pressure. It's this combination of place, geology and pressure that creates the artesian conditions behind our source.

Ancient volcanic eruptions created layer upon layer of basalt beneath the region. Over time, fractures and permeable zones within that geology became pathways for groundwater, replenished as rain and snow infiltrate the landscape and move through the regional groundwater system.

The geology took millions of years to form. The water is part of a living groundwater system moving through it today.

Part of a natural cycle. Long-term sustainability.

A Resource in Motion.

The water beneath Lewiston isn't simply sitting underground. It is part of a larger groundwater system shaped by the region's geology and continually influenced by the natural water cycle. Rain and snowmelt move across the landscape, feeding rivers and infiltrating permeable areas where water can enter and move through the basalt groundwater system. Historical studies of the Lewiston area also describe interaction between the regional aquifer systems and the Snake and Clearwater Rivers.

The well provides access to that groundwater, it doesn't create it. Our responsibility is to use that access thoughtfully. For Nepra, responsible water stewardship means understanding the source, operating within our permitted water rights, monitoring the resource, and continuing to build the scientific understanding needed to support its long-term use.

We see the water source as more than an input to a bottling operation. It is a natural resource underlying the long-term value of the asset, which gives us both a commercial opportunity and a responsibility to manage it carefully.

Drink. Recycle. Repeat.

The Bottle Matters, Too.

We chose aluminum packaging because what happens after the last sip matters. Aluminum can be recycled repeatedly while retaining its fundamental material properties, and when recovered, it requires significantly less energy to recycle than producing new primary aluminum. No package is perfect, and recyclability only works when materials make it back into the system. For us, aluminum represents a better choice and is a valuable material designed to be recovered, reused and kept in motion.

A small city with some big advantages.

Why Lewiston?

465 Miles Inland. Still a Seaport.

Sometimes inland is an advantage.

The Port of Lewiston is Idaho's only seaport and the most inland port on the West Coast. Its position at the end of the Columbia-Snake River system creates an unusual connection between an inland manufacturing community and the Pacific.

Beverages Already Live Here.

We're not the first to see the opportunity.

Lewiston already supports established beverage infrastructure, including Pepsi operations in the community. For Nepra, that's another signal that the region can support beverage production and distribution, and not simply provide a compelling water source.

Built in Idaho. Positioned for the West.

A Western production base with outward reach.

From Lewiston, Nepra has a domestic manufacturing base positioned near Washington and Oregon and connected by highway to markets across the broader West. For us, that means the ability to manufacture closer to the markets we're targeting while maintaining greater control over production and supply.
